Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He spoke to His disciples and told them, “…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NIV) Our mandate, therefore, is fourfold – to be His witnesses locally (Jerusalem), regionally (Judea), nationally (Samaria), and globally (to the ends of the earth). CBC is committed to obeying the commands of Jesus and we work to reach the lost both here and abroad – be it taking a stand against the evils of abortion or supporting missionaries who are our hands and feet where we may never go.
