Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten

"Where Every Child Experiences the Love of Jesus"

Sunday Mornings 10 AM - Nursery

Ministry Leader: Amy DeLisi - Interim

The Nursery & Pre-K ministry provides childcare for ages 0-24 months, and a structured program for ages 2-5 involving a Bible Lesson, snacks, crafts, music and free play time. We take every opportunity to use ordinary moments as meaningful teaching examples for God’s Word to sink deeply into the hearts and minds of our little ones.

This ministry is very rewarding as you see young faces grow and come to understand the love of Jesus and the treasures of His Word. You will come to understand why Jesus said “Suffer the little children to come to Me, and forbid them not for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven”.

Sunday Mornings 10 AM – KWAM Room

Ministry Leader: Amy DeLisi - Interim

The KWAM Children’s Ministry Team is a dedicated group of adult and teen volunteers with a passion for children.

KWAM Children’s Church 10 AM - Our focus is on exciting Bible Lessons with application, discussion, and prayer, Bible Verse Memorization, and Group Games. Our top priority is to provide a safe and loving environment, as Covid and other circumstances change.

We make every effort to encourage, nurture, love and protect every child.

It is an honor for us to partner with the parents in the spiritual training of their children.

“When you walk, they will lead you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk with you.” Proverbs 6:22

CBC Youth Group

Purpose: Our goal is to build relationships with and among the youth in our community, to make Christ known among them, and to (alongside their parents) help disciple our youth in their walk of following Jesus.

Wednesday Nights:

  • We meet in the Old Church Building (downstairs Fellowship Room).

  • Come at 6:30 for games, snacks, & hanging out.

  • Our program officially starts at 7:00 and finishes at 8:30pm

  • Our focus is on building relationships with each other and learning together who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. We do this through group games, Bible lessons, small group discussions, and praying for one another. Our hope is that this program will be beneficial both for teens who are at the beginning of understanding what it means to follow Jesus and for those who are experienced and wanting to dive deeper into their relationship with and understanding of Him.

Teen Church:

  • On the second Sunday of every month, youth-group-age church attendees are invited to “Teen Church.” They will be dismissed from the service before the sermon begins and will return by the end of the service.

  • They will head over to the Old Church Building for a time of group discussion.

  • The goal of this time is to discuss and try to better understand the sermons we have heard together in church over the past 3 Sundays as well as to discuss any questions the youth may have about the Bible and Christianity.

If you have any questions about the youth ministry or would like to learn how to get involved please contact Matt and Mya Swart at (609) 707-2502 or cbcyouth@cbcnj.com

Music Ministry

The purpose of the CBC Music Ministry is to ultimately and entirely bring glory to God. Our primary means of fulfilling this purpose is by collectively leading members of the Body of Christ in praise to God. Through skillfully prepared music and scriptures, we encourage the congregation towards and model for them a lifestyle of sincere worship that is consistent every day of the week (1 Cor. 10:31). Our current goal as a team and ministry has been to write new and original songs of praise (Psalm 96).

If you are interested in joining the music ministry, or being a part of music at CBC for special occasions, please contact our Music Director: Jesse Dill at MusicDirector@cbcnj.com.
